Retired Army sergeant, Larry Modic bought his home on a short sale May 30th. He had no idea that the city was considering it for demolition. This retired veteran who has served his country for over two decades is being “thanked” with a demolition order.

About 30 people have offered money, materials, and labor to fix all the problems with the house. Larry presented a plan to do so at the City's urging. On January 23, 2013 the City rejected his plan.

It’s time to tell Akron— A three-time “All American City” winner that this is NOT the way an “All American City” treats their veterans!
